EUROHUNT Trophy Cleaner is an effective remedy for those who boil their own trophies.
The ingredients break down and separate the tissue from the bone, remove fat, bleach the bone and can shorten the cooking time.
Contents 1000 g.
Instructions for use:
The trophy must be skinned, larger tissue masses must be removed, the brain must be removed and the brain cavity must be cleaned.
Place the skull in cold salt water and let it soak for 24 hours. Make sure that antlers or horns are not immersed in the liquid; it is best to remove the horns before soaking.
Prepare an appropriate amount by mixing 10-35 g per liter of water. Use the measuring cup provided (10 ml ≈ 10 g). The dosage depends on the age and species of the animal. Use 10-20 g/l for younger animals, especially deer, and 20-35 g/l for older animals.
Heat the solution and stir until the cleaner is completely dissolved. Then place the skull in the solution and continue heating to approx. 80°C. It is recommended to avoid boiling to avoid damaging the skull.
Constantly check the skull to prevent it from boiling over. When the tissue starts to detach from the skull, remove it and clean it with dissection tools and brushes. If it is difficult to remove all the tissue, place the skull back in the solution and continue boiling. Check it frequently and clean the remaining tissue.
Rinse the skull thoroughly and let it dry.
Bleach the skull with Trofæ bleach if necessary.
After drying, treat the skull with Trofæ wax. The solution can be poured into the sewer.
